Pumpkin Kitty

This is one of my favorite Halloween digi images from Bugaboo.  Colored the kitty with Copic markers.  Other supplies used: Spellbinder dies, buttons, ribbon and twine.  The green background layer is a scalloped circle die cut that I cut in half and centered behind the candy corn paper.

Hope you have a Purr-fect Halloween...

Cut out the easel card shape, blue layers, fence, moon, bats and spider web corners with my Silhouette Cameo.  The cat hiding behind the pumpkin is a digi image by Dustin Pike.  Colored with Copic markers.  "Purrfect Halloween" saying is a stamp from Penny Black, cut out with a Spellbinders die and mounted to the blue layer with Scrapbook Adhesive dots.

House Mouses picking apples

We finished 2 coats of paint on the kitchen and Dale had to run out to Sherwin Williams to pick up more so I had a bit of free time to make a card.  I used a fun apple picking image from the House Mouse Triple CD set.  Paper is from My Minds Eye.  Also used white ribbon, a red button tied on with twine and Scrapbook Adhesive dots to mount the image.

Some new pics of Doolin

I finished sewing new curtains for the kitchen and started painting the walls.  Looks like it's going to take 3 coats to cover over the old color completely.  UGH...   I won't have time to work on cards until it's finished, so instead of posting a card, I thought I would share some pics of our miniture poodle Doolin. The old groomer we used has left the shop, so Doolin had a new lady groom him.  She put these cute little bows on his ears, but they only lasted about 10 minutes after he got home.

Happy Fall

This cute little gal is from Great Impressions.  I colored her with Copic markers, then cut out the image and border with Nestabilities dies.  Stitched all layers with sewing machine.  Mounted image to card base with Scrapbook Adhesives dots.  Paper, ribbon and tag from my stash.  I used Sketch Saturday 327 as my inspiration but added the image above the border, the ribbon on the right side and a few glossy pebbles as accents.

Have a doggone great day

I need to restock my birthday card stash and thought these darling pups from Paper Pretties would be perfect to use.  I colored the scene with Prismacolor pencils and blended the colors with a eraser.  Designer paper is from the Notable pack by My Minds Eye.  Also used Spellbinders dies and EK Success punches.

I'm back....

Can't believe it's been so long since I posted on my blog.  Decided to take a few days off from the renovation work on our house to do some crafting this weekend.  This little pup is a digi image I got a few years ago from Dustin Pike.  Colored with Copics.  Stitched designer paper to card base and zig zag stitched the saying to image.  Mounted image with pop dots, then added Prima flowers and pearls.

Birthday Pop Up House Mouse Card

Birthday card for a friend made with images from the House Mouse Triple CD set from Joanna Sheen.  Also used a pop up file from the Silhouette store and cut out the pieces with my Cameo.  For the front panel I used the flower paper from the CD.  Also used the flower paper for the inside, but on the inside panel I digitally added a birthday saying label.   MS border punch was used to cut out the white fence on the bottom of the scene.

House Mouse Birthday Card made from scraps

I was inspired by all the fun cards Cheryl from Cafexpressions has made with left over scraps of designer paper.  So I dug out some scraps from my bin and made a birthday card for my stash.  Also used a fun precolored birthday digi image from the House Mouse Triple CD set from Joanna Sheen.  Added a banner saying, some lace along the border and tiny pearls.
