There's a new challenge starting today at Paper Creator.  The theme is "Must Be Love".  For my challenge card, I used a Sizzix Scallop Square Flip die for the card base and combined it with a awesome kit called With All My Heart.  It is part of the Daffodil Bunny Ultimate Kit which includes 10 absolutely adorable kits filled with fun critters, sayings, embellishments and patterned papers.

Thinking of you

Please use code DELORIS to save 20% off your order.

This little cutie is from the Birthday Tweets Topper And Decoupage Set at the Paper Creator store.
(Please note I only used the decoupage page from the kit and I reduced the size of the images before printing so they fit the die cut frame.)  I hand cut all the images and layered them on top of each other following the numbers on the decoupage sheet.  Also layered three talk bubbles for more dimension.  Other supplies used: Spellbinders Floral Ovals die,  Prima flowers with tiny Hero Arts pearls in the centers. Leaves and talk bubble were cut out with my Silhouette Cameo.  Designer papers are Bazzill Basic Red.

Puppy Love Center Panel Step Card

Created this fun center panel step card with the following items:

Paper Creators Oval Easel Mega Bundle Puppy Love
(Enter code DELORIS for a 20% discount off your order)

Used image, patterned paper and flowers with hearts from main image.
Kraft cardstock and Neenah White 65# cardstock
Silhouette Cameo and Silhouette cut file #39775 Center panel step card

Note:  I like to experiment and find ways use these adorable digital files to create different card styles in addition to the ones in the original kit.  To make my center step card, I cut out the main card base with kraft cardstock using my Cameo and a cut file from then Silhouette store.  For the main image,  I cut out three layers of the white center panel and layered one on top of the other for more dimension.   For the side paw print panels I did flip the right image so the paws are facing the opposite way.  Then I printed two extra images of the puppy and hand cut out the paws and hearts for one layer.  Then cut out only the paws  for the top layer.  Used dot roller adhesive to attach them on top of each other to the main layer.

If you don't have a Cameo you can still make this center step card cutting out the card base with a craft knife and using die cuts to cut out the main image.  I found a templates and instructions on line at Splitcoast Stampers.  Also with a google search for center step card templates.

Hope your having a wonderful day!

Daisy Kitten Birthday Card

It's my neighbor's birthday and I wanted to make her a special card.  She just got a new kitty and her favorite color is golden yellow, so I thought this ultimate kit from Paper Creator called Daisy Kitten would be "purrfect" for her card.
For the front panel, I used patterned papers from the kit and the kitty image, then created the inside panels using Silhouette Studio and typed the saying.  Added a ribbon, tag and some bling.  Scalloped card base is by Docrafts Papermania. Corners were cut out with Spellbinders Lace Heart die.  Sorry about the lighting on the photos.  It's been cloudy and dark here all day and my camera's flash and I don't get along very well.

Barkley Thank You Card

Sorry it's been so long since my last post.  It's been a very busy month.  My birthday was last week and after checking my stash, I found I am running low on thank you cards.  This one is for a friend who has a cat and a dog and loves to garden.   I found the image on the Everyday With Barkley CD by Crafter's Companion.  I made all the background papers in Photoshop Elements using some template overlays I found on Flickr.  I cut out all the pieces with my Cameo, adhered to the cardbase, then added the Prima flowers with pearls.
