Hershey's Kisses Window Box

This is my first design team post for The Cutting Cafe.  It's a "anything goes" week as we could choose any of the files from the store for our project.  After spending an hour looking at all the wonderful designs, I picked a darling little window box and these fun circle bottoms to put on Hershey's kisses.  I printed out the Hersheys kiss sayings, then punched them out with a circle punch.  Then I cut out the window box with my Silhouette Cameo.  Added lace, acetate to window opening, ribbon and a few roses to finish off the gift box.

Here's a list of the supplies I used to create my treat box:

The Cutting Cafe:
Bazzill Basics Crisscross Cardstock
Acetate for window
3/4" circle punch
Treasures by Shabby Chic Paper Roses
Lace, ribbon, double stick tape and glue dots

Valentine's Day Card

We collect teddy bears so I made this Valentine's Day card for my husband.  This sweet little bear is a digi from Sassy Cheryls.  I colored him with Copic markers, then cut out the image and background layer with Nestabilities dies.  Scalloped border was cut with a scallop blade on my Carl cutter. Designer paper is a older mat pack called Cosmopolitan from Making Memories.

Shrink Plastic Jewelry

Sadly, this will be my last design team post for Great Impressions.
Things have gotten very busy in my life, so I have decided to
take a break from designing and crafting for several weeks.

I created this necklace using translucent shrink plastic and a beautiful stamp from Great Impressions called Scene of a rose.

Instructions:
Sand shrink plastic on both sides then wipe off dust with a paper towel.
With make up sponge or dauber tap Jade ink across shrink plastic.  Underneath the Jade tap Lime ink.   Set ink by lightly going over shrink plastic with heat gun.  Turn over and tap colors.  Set ink.   (Only use heat gun for a few seconds to set the ink as you don’t want to shrink the plastic yet.)
Stamp Scent of a Rose with Graphite Black ink over the Jade and Lime.
Let ink dry completely.  Will take 24 to 48 hours.  Or you can speed up drying time by lightly heat setting with the heat gun.  (Just be careful not to smear the ink and stop before plastic starts to shrink.)
Punch 1/8" hole in top.
Cut out with scissors.
Place shrink plastic on a box or phone book.  Use heat gun to shrink.
After it shrinks and while it's still hot, use a acrylic or wood block to flatten it.
Attach jump ring and black cord.

Supplies:
Great Impressions Stamp:
Translucent Shrink Plastic
Heat Gun or Oven
Paper Towel
Brilliance Ink Pads:
Pearlescent Jade
Pearlescent Lime
Graphite Black
Make Up Sponge or Dauber
1/8" Hole Punch
Fine Sand Paper
(Box or phone book to place shrink plastic on if using a heat gun.)
Wood or acrylic block or something to flatten shrink plastic
Black Cord
Jump Ring
Scissors

New Release - Breezy Summer Days

I love all the new releases, but I think these adorable overalls and fun saying are my favorites.  I stamped the image onto lined paper then onto polka dot.  Cut out the polka dot overalls and glued to circle.  Then added a scalloped circle background and put pop dots on the back for a bit more dimension.  Stamped saying onto lined paper, cut out, added blue layer, then put pop dots on the back.  Cut a small strip of polka dot background paper to create the faux ribbon for the tag.  Assembled all layers and added flowers with pearls and buttons.
