Nautical Card

I created this nautical card with the Sailboat 6 X 6 Card Kit from Paper Creator.  I used Silhouette Studio DE to trace the life preserver, printed the image and cut out several layers with my Silhouette Cameo.   Inked the edges of the life preserver with a black Memento pen.  Cut out the 2 of the sailboat and lighthouse images by hand. Assembled all the layers, then attached them to the antique map background paper.  You can't see it very well from the photo, but all the layering gives it a lot of dimension and a 3D effect.

Oh, Deloris, now this is a good one for me -- the gal who really and truly struggles with guy cards. One because I want to color flowers! And two because, well, I just love making pretty cards. But this is wonderful and such a great card with the dimension you've added by layering. Oh, I need this...really do. And it's perfect for our boys. Thank you for the discount code. I may do more shopping than this! Hugs, sweet friend!
