Hedgehogs In The Garden

Another thunderstorm is passing through, so I had some time this afternoon to make a card.  This is for a special little girl who isn't feeling well.  Hopefully it will make her smile. This darling precolored digi image is called Pots Of Hedgehog Love from Di's Design.  The image was cut out with Spellbinders dies and the corners were die cut with a Whimsy die.   I machine stitched scraps of pattern paper to the card base, then added a ribbon and a tag tied on with twine.

Simple Daisies

There's a new challenge starting today at Paper Creator.  The theme is All About Flowers.  I created my card with a wonderful kit called Simple Daisies.    I used the patterned papers and images from the kit, but changed it up a bit from the original sketch (shown below) .  Cut out all the pieces using my Carl Rotary Paper Trimmer and Spellbinders dies.  Ribbon, pearls and tag are from my stash.
