Greetings from Great Dunes Beach at Jekyll Island Georgia

We decided to get away for a few days before the next round of remodeling starts on our house. We are camping in Georgia and spent some time at the fabulous Great Dunes Beach at Jekyll Island.  Weather has been perfect in the low 70's and not many people on the beach.  They allow dogs so we were able to take our little poodle with us.  Finished off our day at the beach by stopping for ice cream at the Dairy Queen at the entrance to the park.  They even gave us a little bit of ice cream in a cup for our dog so he enjoyed the outing too.  Sorry the pictures don't do it justice as I took them with my cell phone.  It's absolutely gorgeous here and truly a little piece of heaven.

I am so jealous...buried under several feet of snow and now ice! This has been the longest winter. Enjoy your vacation!!!

I've never been there but always wanted to. It seems you picked the perfect time to go while remodeling.
